ANNUAL MEETING - June 26, 2009
On June 26, 2009 GCA held the Annual Meeting at Balina Farm in Rectortown. Lori and Sean McGuinness graciously opened their beautiful home to over 45 Goose Creek Association members. Nancy West was thanked for all her hard work throughout the past 6 years as the Loudoun Co-Chair. Sadly, she left the board at the end of June.
Jeff Wolinski, our guest speaker, gave a wonderful power point presentation on Sustainable Meadows.
Everyone enjoyed the evening – complete with fabulous food and drink.
CANNON RIDGE UPDATE
On Thursday, July 30 the Planning Commission voted to postpone the Cannon Ridge application for up to 90 days. There was a large turn out of Marshall residents who oppose the development. GCA member, Kitty Smith, was very effective in providing information as well as mobilizing citizens to attend. Many thanks to Kitty for her efforts. For information about the hearing you may contact us at goosecreek@erols.com.
